mt Masking Tape Washi Set

The mt Masking Tape washi tape set brings the celebrated Japanese paper tape tradition to planners, scrapbookers, and everyday note-takers who want a quick way to add color and texture to their pages. Produced by Kamoi Kakoshi, the original innovator behind washi masking tape, each roll is made from thin, semi-transparent rice paper that tears cleanly by hand without scissors, making it effortless to section off calendar blocks, frame journal entries, or label tabs on a planner spread. The adhesive is gentle yet reliable, allowing the tape to be repositioned on paper, laminated covers, or plastic dividers without tearing the surface underneath or leaving behind a sticky residue, which is especially useful for anyone who likes to rearrange their layouts as the week unfolds.

Inside a typical mt set you'll find a curated selection of rolls, often bundled by theme, color family, or pattern style, ranging from soft solid pastels and muted neutrals to classic stripes, dots, florals, and seasonal motifs. This variety gives planner enthusiasts the flexibility to color-code categories, highlight important dates, or simply decorate the margins of a bullet journal with a cohesive aesthetic. Because the tape is slightly translucent, it layers beautifully over handwritten notes, printed text, or other strips of tape, letting the ink or imagery beneath show through for a soft, washed-out collage effect that many planner and scrapbook creators specifically seek out.

Beyond its visual charm, the mt Masking Tape washi tape set is valued for its everyday practicality in stationery routines: securing loose inserts into a ring-bound planner, patching a torn page corner, creating washi tape borders around habit trackers, or sealing handwritten letters tucked into a journal pocket. The tape writes over well with most gel pens, fine liners, and markers, so labels and dates can be added directly onto the strip once it's applied. Packaged in a compact box or set of individually wrapped rolls, it stores neatly in a desk drawer or craft caddy, ready to be pulled out whenever a planner spread, notebook cover, or card project calls for a quick decorative or functional touch.
